Principal

Annalisa has over 20 year’s experience in the water sector, specialising in integrated water cycle management and risk assessment. She has a chemical engineering degree with a doctorate in aquatic chemistry, both from Sydney University. She is a chartered professional engineer in the Chemical and Environmental Colleges, has a Certificate in Public Participation from the International Association of Public Participation and is an Honorary Associate at the University of Sydney.
Annalisa specialises in providing technical services including technical facilitation and summary reporting to government agencies, water utilities and private companies. She has worked on a broad range of infrastructure projects from water treatment plants for communities of 300 to the deep water pumping stations for the Sydney Catchment Authority. She is highly regarded for her skills in workshop facilitation, from community consultation to multi-disciplinary technical workshops including strategic planning workshops, project planning workshops, catchment risk assessments, project HAZOPs and CHAIRs and drinking and recycled water quality risk assessments. Annalisa has received numerous awards for industry service and technical excellence, and is the 2012 recipient of the Uhde Shedden Medal which recognises practical services to the profession and to the practice of chemical engineering in Australia & New Zealand.

Steven is a chemical engineer with more than 16 years’ experience in the provision of information and technical solutions to the water, health, construction, manufacturing and retail sectors.

Steven specialises in providing technical services including technical review and summary reporting to government agencies, water utilities and private companies.

Steven is highly regarded for his ability to bring strong research and analytical skills to the practical design and review of drinking and recycled water schemes. His attention to detail in the design stage of projects has enabled the rectification of design flaws.

Steven is an Honorary Associate at the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the University of Sydney, is a certified Water Quality Management System Auditor and maintains a highly sought specialty in server bending, nerf herding and IT disaster recovery.

Natalie Crawford

Manager business operations

Natalie has almost 20 years’ experience in the water industry, specialising in water resource engineering. She has an environmental engineering degree from the University of NSW.

Natalie has provided technical services to government bodies, utility companies and local councils. She has a wide range of experience in infrastructure projects including water treatment plants, flood mitigation works and coastal engineering schemes.

In her role at Atom Consulting, Natalie has been involved in drinking and recycled water quality risk assessments, developed management systems, standard operating procedures and incident and emergency response plans.

Natalie is highly proficient in carrying out data analysis and technical assessments, with experience undertaking vulnerability assessments of water and waste water treatment plans on behalf of Thames Water in the UK.

Natalie has also carried out strategic and flood alleviation scheme feasibility assessments, including catchment and stormwater management.

David specialises in providing operational support through technical review and facilitating operational teams solve problems by identifying root causes.

Lucy provides engineering support to both operations and management. She has a chemical and biomolecular engineering degree from The University of Sydney.

Lucy specialises in the presentation and analysis of large amounts of data and preparation of reports for NSW water utilities.

She has been involved in the development of drinking and recycled water management systems including the development, drafting and ground-truthing of flow diagrams, the assessment of the adequacy of preventative measures, the development of critical control points and their supporting procedures, incident and emergency response protocols and water quality risk assessment.
